Despite the threat of inclement weather, and a last minute change in the date, families flocked to the Macon County Recreation Park last Thursday to do some trick or treating.
After pushing the event back a day, this year's Halloween in the Park brought out seemingly more kids than ever before.

Super heroes were a recurring theme in this year's costumes with a multitude of children dressed up as their favorite Avenger.
After picking through the candy offered by nearly 50 local businesses, churches and community organizations, kids enjoyed playing on free blow-up attractions like a bounce house and slide.
