News Community Angel Medical Center holds Festival of Wreaths fundraiser

Angel Medical Center is celebrating the season with a Festival of Wreaths fundraiser. Wreaths have been donated from churches, businesses, and individuals that are being auctioned off to help meet Hospice patients’ needs that are not covered by insurance. The wreaths will be displayed through Thursday morning, Nov. 29, and then the winning bids will be announced during the reception after the Hospice Tree blessing ceremony.

Those people who have donated a wreath to help with this cause are: Idle Hands Farm, Tom & Melanie Ruffin; Barbara Fletcher, Otto Garden Club, Ridgecrest Baptist Church, the Hospice Volunteers, Franklin Garden Club Cycle Crazy, Memorial United Methodist Church, Joe Langford, Keller Williams Broker; The Art Room, Outdoor 76, Eastside Florist, North Carolina Mountain Made, Golden Needles/ Silver Threads, and Anna Bordell.

While on display in the Outpatient Medicine Lobby, patients, families and friends can write down their bid on a bid sheet and place their bid in the folder by the wreath. The wreaths can be seen weekdays and the silent bids can be made anytime during the viewing period.
