The Federated Franklin Woman's Club held its installation of new officers Friday, Nov. 9, at the Boiler Room in the Factory. The installation ceremony was performed by the club founder, Jackie Hoffman for the new officers for their two year term.
Prior to the installation, the club members approved donations to young people and youth organizations in the community. The club's annual flea market raises money each year for the club's youth projects.
The list of donations approved by the Board are: $500 donation to Shop With a Cop; $200 to Art Saturday; $200 to CareNet and a sum of money will be available for clothing and shoes for children in need for the coming winter.
