The program provides one free age-appropriate book per year for every child birth to five years old in Macon County who signs up.

American Legion gives to Rotary’s Operation Renewal
American Legion Post 108 Commander Larry White (R) presented a check for $500 to Franklin Rotary's Tom James, Chairman of the local Operation Renewal project for homeless veterans.
With the Legion’s donation, and other contributions from the community, Franklin’s Rotary will be providing a scholarship to send two local veterans to culinary school.
