Carpenters to celebrate 50th

James and Doris Carpenter of Franklin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22. T

hey were married on Dec. 22, 1962, in Walhalla, S.C.

The couple have three children, Diane, Tracy and wife Lauri, and Kevin (Bo) Carpenter all of Franklin; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Family and friends are invited to join the celebration at the home of James and Doris on Sunday, Dec. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.
