News Community Kiwanis learns about MPP summer lunch program

Pictured are Crystal Nix with Macon Program for Progress, and Beverly Barnett, president of Kiwanis of Franklin.

Nix spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Franklin on March 19 about MPP's summer lunch program for children in Franklin needing the program.

The lunch program provides lunch for any child in Franklin who would otherwise go hungry. The children do not have to meet any requirements.

Families can register their children for this program by contacting MPP, CareNet, or the First Methodist Church of Franklin. Those same organizations will provide information for anyone wanting to volunteer services for this program.
