News Community LaCoste, Hastings marry in double ring ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Joseph HastingsRebecca Lynn LaCoste of Robertsdale, Ala., and Norman Joseph Hastings of Daphne, Ala., were joyfully married in a double ring ceremony on May 4, at Jubilee Baptist Church in Daphne, Ala. Rev. Scott Davis officiated.

The bride is the daughter of the late Richard Gary LaCoste and Deborah Renee LaCoste of Robertsdale, Ala., and the granddaughter of the late Oscar and Julia Davis, and the late George LaCoste and Elaine Jerkins. She graduated from the University of Mobile with a degree in early childhood and elementary education. She is currently employed as a substitute teacher and with Chik Fil A.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hastings of Franklin, and the grandson of the late Norman and Ethel Hastings and the late Tina and Joe Saladino of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Franklin. He graduated from Franklin High School, and Western Carolina University and the University of Mobile with degrees in music composition and worship leadership. He is currently employed as a music minister at Grace Anglican Church in Fairhope, Ala., and a professional musician with Cool Rayz Band in Alabama.

The maid of honor was Rachel LaCoste, sister of the bride; bridesmaids were Tracy Thomas and Amanda Mosely, friends of the bride. The flower girls were Daria and Brianna LaCoste, nieces of the bride. The best man was Craig Hastings, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Ben R. McBride (cousin of the groom) and Bobby Gibson, friend of the groom. The ringbearer was Kaylor Womack, son of a friend of the bride. The reception was held at Bayfront Pavillion in Daphne, Ala.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon cruise to the Carribbean. They will reside in Daphne, Ala.
