News Community FFWC sets annual flea market Saturday, August 17

Joyce Sammet, president (left) of the Franklin Federated Woman’s Club, and Linda Ellison, Flea Market chairman, prepare for this weekend’s fundraiser.Get a bargain and help the children of Macon County at the same time, when you attend the Federated Franklin Woman's Club Annual Flea Market on Saturday, Aug. 17. The doors open at 8:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on Church Street.

Items for sale include household décor, the clothing boutique, kitchenware, bed and bath items, novels and recipe books, jewelry, furniture, Christmas decorations and home baked goods. All are donated by the club members and friends of the Federated Franklin Woman's Club that support the youth of Macon County.

The FFWC's mission is to help children and youth organizations. Financial suppost has been given to KIDS Place, CareNet, elementary schools, scholarships for students, Shop With A Cop, The Children in Trauma through the Sheriff's Department, Toys for Tots, ARTSaturday and others.
