News Community Secret Santa visits local business to purchase toys for children

Pictured are Toni Montgomery, advocate, Ashley Freeman, Life and Job Skills advocate, Barrett Forshee (in truck), and Pam Forshee from Smoky Mountain Bicycles.Smoky Mountain Bicycles was surprised Monday when a Secret Santa came by, looked around and said he wanted to give $600 to buy bikes for some children in need.

"We immediately said, ‘absolutely.’ We called Ashley Freeman from REACH who said they definitely had some kids who could use the bikes," said Pam and Davis Forshee, owners of Smoky Mountain Bicycles. "So with $600 we were able to donate three bikes to REACH. What a great feeling to be able to help children this time of year. We are so honored Secret Santa picked us and glad we can give to the community."

Smoky Mountain Bicycles also donated three helmets.

The Secret Santa wanted no recognition for his good deed, just to spread some holiday cheer in the community.
