News Community 4-H member makes the State 4-H Shooting Team

Macon County 4-H’er Isaac Stiles has been accepted to the North Carolina 4-H Recurve Archery Team.

Stiles placed second in State 4-H Competition and went on to try out and make the 2014 State 4-H team. He will practice with the four-person team throughout the spring and compete at the National 4-H Shooting Sports competition in June.

Macon County’s 4-H Archery team placed third in the State in recurve competition.

Participating in State Shooting Sports were Chandon Ivey, Lisa Walker, Dacie Seebach, Jacquelyn Bruun, Isaac Stiles, Gabrianne Ivey and Nathaniel Lewis. Chandon Ivey placed first in the State in Air Pistol. Gabrianne Ivey placed third in North Carolina in Air Rifle.
