News Community Cancer survivors make early Christmas wish

Volunteers man the T-shirt table.Relay for Life held its annual Survivor’s Dinner last Thursday at Cowee Baptist Church. The theme was “All I Want for Christmas is a Cure.”

Survivor Lori Impagliatelli offered words of encouragement and inspiration.

Michael Hastings provided musical accompaniment, Angie Tippett sang and author Brianna Teague read a poem.

Tammy Dills and Jean Crane, co-chairs, recognized survivors.

The 2014 Relay for Life is set for Friday, June 6, 6 p.m. to 12 midnight, at the Franklin High School track.
