Macon Program for Progress children enjoyed a fun-filled day of hunting eggs, music and games at the Veteran’s Memorial Park. The event was sponsored by the Student Government Association for Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps for the twentieth year.
The 300 children, 3 to 5 years old, hunted after 1,800 eggs which were gone in a matter of minutes. Smoky The Bear was also present for the event.
