Members of the Macon Early College’s Parent Teacher Student Organization helped raise money last Saturday morning for the school with its second annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast. Held at Blue Ridge Roadhouse restaurant, the event was an overall success according to organizers, who boasted selling nearly 300 tickets for admission.

According to PTSO president Nancy Ritter, the funds will assist with the school’s beautification project, assist with future field trip expenses as well as help fund the Ashleigh Moore Memorial Scholarship Fund—a gift aid program established last year by the PTSO in honor of Ashleigh Moore, an MEC student who passed away in March of 2010.
