Victory Christian School, midway between Sylva and Franklin, North Carolina just off highway 441, will begin the new school year on Monday, Aug. 22. Victory is unusual in that not only is it a private school, but it is also a Christian school. The school is a member of the North Carolina Christian School Association and the American Association of Christian Schools and is approved by the North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education (part of the North Carolina Public School system in Raleigh). VCS is uniquely designed to train Christian young people to be ready for whatever God has for them to do in life.

Graduation requirements from Victory meet or exceed the academic requirements for the sixteen member institutions of the University of North Carolina. Curriculum used is selected for a strong academic emphasis and a Christian philosophy. Christian textbooks from Christian publishers are used whenever possible (either from A Beka Books produced by Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, or from Bob Jones University Press in Greenville, S.C.).
