FHS band dishes out scholarships

The Franklin High School Band held its spring concert May 14.

The Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band and the Symphonic Band provided a variety of musical selections.

Scholarships were awarded to deserving seniors as pictured, (front L-R) James Wilt - Director's Scholarship; Rachael Carpenter - John Huckabee Memorial Scholarship; Angela Deetz - Woody Herman Jazz Scholarship; Caleb Moore - Patrick Gilmore Scholarship; (back, L-R) Cody Lee Keener - John Philip Sousa Scholarship; Clint Strain - Louis Armstrong Jazz Scholarship.
