Dana Moore of Franklin graduated from High Point University May 5 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in two majors, graphic design and French. She also minored in music and communications at HPU. Her achievements earned her the distinction of graduating Magna Cum Laude maintaining a grade point average of 3.85 during her four year college career at High Point University.
In addition Moore was awarded the highest honors HPU offers in both of her majors, the Outstanding Senior in Graphic Design Award and the Thomas E. Scott Award for Outstanding Senior for Excellence in French. She was elected to the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and is also a member of the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success.
High Point University continued its tradition of bringing motivating and inspirational speakers to campus by featuring Former First Lady Laura Bush as its 2012 Commencement speaker. Moore is currently employed by French Heritage Furniture Company in High Point. She is the daughter of Janice and David Moore of Franklin.
