News Education First graders at Iotla Valley learn about jobs that can make a difference

Pastor Jason Smith came and talked about how they help families with food, fire wood, they build ramps, and pay power bills.Pam Shepherd’s first grade at Iotla Valley Elementary had visitors come to their classroom recently to tell about their jobs and how they make a difference in the community.

Sheriff Holland came and talked about all he does within the community by keeping it safe and protected.

Pastor David Powell and Pastor Jason Smith came and talked about how they help families with food, fire wood, they build ramps, and pay power bills.

Warren Cabe talked about his Fire Chief job with Franklin Fire department and also town manager.

ER nurse Mandy Tabor told the students about her job and let each child listen to their heart beat.

Another visitor was Coach Jay Brooks and he talked about how he helps students at the high school to do their best.

The students learned how people can help each other and what a difference a person can make in someone's life.
