The North Carolina primary is Tuesday, May 8. The polls will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

Polling place by community are as follows:

North Franklin - Franklin Town Hall; South Franklin - Franklin Police Department; East Franklin - Macon County Environmental Resource Center; Iotla - Macon County Airport; Union - Macon County Community Building; Millshoal - Holly Springs Community Building; Ellijay - Cullasaja Gorge Fire & Rescue; Sugarfork - Pine Grove School; Highlands - Highlands Civic Center; Flats - Scaly Mountain Fire Department; Smithbridge - Otto Community Building; Cartoogechaye - West Macon Fire and Rescue; Nantahala - Nantahala School; Burningtown - Burningtown Community Building; Cowee - Cowee School.
