This is a thank you letter to all the people that helped at the Habitat for Humanity Macon County NC’s 15th Annual Smoky Mountain Shrimp Boil.
Thanks to Donny Bishop and his crew for doing all the cooking; shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. MMM good!!
Thanks to the Franklin High School cheerleaders and their coaches for doing all the serving and clean up. They did an outstanding job.
Thanks to Gem City, Rhonda and Warren Drake, Marshall Henson and “Elvis” (Mark Eskew), as well as Sonny and Cindy for the entertainment. The quality of the performances and singing was superb.
Thanks to the Habitat board members, staff and volunteers who gave their time and effort to help where they were needed.
Thanks to all of you who supported us by your donations and ticket purchases, all of which made our Shrimp Boil a success. We hope to see you again next year for more shrimp and fun!
It was a long day but a very rewarding and successful one. Our sincere thanks to all involved. May God bless you all.
