Politics and manners should go hand in hand

After watching the video of the 12-3-2012 Town Board meeting online (view it here), I was appalled at what I saw.

Brittney Parker, a Macon News reporter, speaks about an attack by a Town Board member concerning her fidgeting during a meeting. Miss Parker has disabilities and a debilitating injury that she has worked hard to overcome.

Who do they think they are? Should these people be allowed to continue harassing citizens?

I believe it is time to replace a few seats on the Town Board.
