Opinion Letters Church neighbors respond to predicament

The All Saints’ Episcopal Community is grateful to St. John’s Episcopal Church, The First Presbyterian Church, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Resurrection Lutheran Church for so graciously responding to our lost palm order predicament by sharing their palms with us for Palm Sunday.

Last week the palm order for The All Saints’ Episcopal Community did not arrive as expected. When calling the company, we were told they had no record of our order, which had been placed in early February.

The following morning we began calling. Each church responded to our call and generously shared their palms with us.

Christ calls us to be ONE Body and in Franklin we are living into His call with this modern day example that is akin to the parable of the “Loaves and Fishes.”
