Opinion Letters Why aren’t local government jobs published?

Can someone in the County or City Government explain to us why when jobs for both male and female comes available they are not published in our newspapers?

It would seem to me all the citizens of our County be given an opportunity to apply instead of brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts and buddies who are hired behind closed doors.

I could be wrong, I was once told to get a job in this area, first you must have a relative here or be a native of Franklin.

How about one of our city or county officials explain why nepotism rules the day?

By the way I don’t want a job but, maybe some young person in our community might.
