The Franklin Lions Club wanted to make a difference like no other service organization in helping the environment of Franklin.
Franklin Lions developed a plan to work with Habitat for Humanity of Macon County by planting over 60 Dogwood Trees around Habitat For Humanity Homes, the Franklin Airport and other areas.
The plan was to help the environment by reducing erosion to save soil, help preserve local water sources and provide habitat for wildlife living.
Lion Members who assisted in making the difference were Pete Haithcock ,Al Grant, Rick Westerman, Carl Allen and Bill Martin .
