Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in the meeting room, Hiking 101 - day hiking planning, equipment, and local hiking.
Bill Van Horn from the Nantahala Hiking Club will present information on day hike planning, equipment and local options for hiking.
Tuesday, March 29 at 7 p.m., How to Get Started in Bird Watching with John Sill.
Sill will conduct a program about beginning bird watching. He will discuss field guides, bird feeding, and optics.
Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m. in the meeting room, Appalachian Trail Documentary: A Walk for Sunshine
Jeff Alt walked 5 million steps on the Appalachian Trail over rugged mountainous terrain, through freezing temperatures, driving rain and sunny skies buoyed by the knowledge that his walk was dedicated to his brother who has cerebral palsy.
Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in the meeting room, Share Our Local Beauty
Come join Michael M. Rogers as he takes you on virtual hikes in the surrounding mountains. Experience the beauty through nature photography and music.
