WNC conference loss against Pisgah, the Franklin High School varsity girls’ basketball team advance to 5-1 for the season after beating the Smoky Mountain High Mustangs 51-42 on Tuesday night.

Franklin's varsity boys’ basketball team went point for point with the Mustangs and lost by a mere three point margin, ending the game 69-66. The loss gives the Panthers a 5-2 record for the season.

The action continues tonight (Thursday) when the Panthers will travel to Highlands to take on the Highlanders.
