After holding an early lead, moving ahead 2-0, the Maroon Devils were able to bounce back with two wins to match the Panthers. Going into the fifth match, it was a back and forth affair, but Swain finally pulled it out winning the final match 15-10 and the game, 3-2.
Tuesday night, the Lady Panthers hosted the North Henderson Knights in a conference game, again at the Panther Den. The student body turned out in high numbers to cheer the team on after suffering a close loss Monday night. Franklin wouldn't fare any better in this game however. They were able to take early leads in the first two matches, but couldn't hold on, eventually being overtaken by the Knights in each of the three matches, losing 3-0.
