The Franklin girls golf team finished second in yesterday’s first round of the conference tournament. Erin Campbell shot a 79 on the 18 holes and broke her own record with a 36 on 9 holes. Jordan Carpenter shot a season best 48 on one 9 and 98 overall, Ali Stahl also shot her season best 51 with a 104 overall, Samantha shot her season best 50 with 101 overall and Lili Vitale shot her season best 59 with a 121 overall.

The team played at their home course, Mill Creek yesterday in the second round of play. The next round of conference play will take place next Wednesday at Etowah.
