The Carolina Mudcats 9-and-under Travel Baseball Team competed in the East Worth Hardball Classic in Kingsport, Tenn., May 14-15.
The Mudcats won three elimination games, beating a team from Canton, N.C., Jonesboro, Tenn., and Roanoke, Va.
The Mudcats consist of players from Waynesville, Sylva, and Franklin.
